Job Description:
What You'll Do
The Lead Underwiring Quality Analyst performs comprehensive reviews of residential home loans to ensure they meet all underwriting requirements, shares findings, provides recommendations and feedback, tracks and monitors improvements.
Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
How You'll Do It:

  • Conduct quality reviews of residential home loans for completeness and compliance with underwriting requirements.
  • Identify gaps and inform solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems, or human errors.
  • Maintain detailed records of home loan reviews, share findings and recommendations with stakeholders and senior management, and monitor completion of process improvement opportunities.
  • Meet established review production standards, ensuring timely and accurate loan reviews.
  • Participate in resolving file conflicts, working collaboratively with internal teams.


Qualifications You'll Need
The Basics

  • Associate's degree in accounting, arts, communications, economics, marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in home loan underwriting and/or processing, quality control, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in residential lending with knowledge and advanced understanding of consumer and business banking operations, products/services, system, and associated risks/controls
  • 3+ years of experience in strong analytical, process facilitation and project management skills.
  • 3+ years of experience in effective presentation, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience in computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and work processing, spreadsheets, and presentations

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $77,500.00 to $131,500.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
