Position Description
The TechOps team works closely with the FICC and EQD business which has enjoyed massive growth in the last few years.
We are looking for an exceptional performer to join the TechOps team in Hong Kong. The main responsibility of the team is to provide Level 1 and Level 2 support on the FICC and EQD systems to the business users. We would like to invite experienced IT support professionals with knowledge on global market systems who wants to further develop their career to join our fast-paced, dynamic and multi-cultural team. The candidate would be a senior member in the team and would report directly to the Head of TechOps, FICC and EQD.
Key Areas of Responsibilities

Provide functional support on Calypso and other systems to a broad range of users.

Maintain documentation on operational procedures and technical environment configuration.

Manage change requests from development and infrastructure teams and other configuration changes

Incident escalation and management.
-
Configure system monitoring rules and respond to monitoring alerts.

Implement tactical automation.
-
Perform BCP drills and help with IT security and audit review.

Lead projects related to new system and server deployment.

Other tasks as directed by the manager.
Requirements -
Degree/Master degree in IT, Computer Science of related fields

8+ years of experience of relevant system support experience

Good knowledge of SQL
-
Proficiency in Linux server commands and shell scripts

Good understanding of server and network infrastructure

Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
-
Good communication skills in English and Chinese

Very strong attention to details
-
Able to work under pressure
-
Willing to work on morning shifts (from 7am) and take turns to work on weekend (with compensation leave entitlement)
