Job Description SummaryResponsible for tracking the Cost per Shop Visit at Celma and driving actions to reduce the Engine Overhaul Cost & increase contract Margin for CSA & T&M engines. This role will partner with multiple operational, engineering and commercial teams to manage and drive cost reduction.Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Understand the Engine Costs that are being incurred in the shop

  • Closely monitor repair yield, engine escalation, used material consumption and labor productivity

  • Lead the review of the Engine Cost with multiple partnering teams

  • Work on actions to mitigate the cost of the engine while it is being overhauled

  • Use historical and systemic data to look for cost reduction opportunities

  • Lead Kaizen events on $/SV cost out

  • Share best practices, implemented projects and opportunities across multiple sites

  • Drive project implementation and completion in the shop to the committed timeline. Standardize measurement processes and ensure change management is systematic and cost is sustainable and controlled.

  • Identify, manage and audit results of implemented projects

  • Support labor productivity measurement

  • Enhance the Cost Culture at the Gemba

  • Support the use of FLIGHT DECK fundamentals and methodology on the Cost Team

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and related field from an accredited university

  • High experience in MRO

  • Fluency in English

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

  • High level of ownership and accountability

  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously

  • Effectively collaborate with different functions in locations around the world
