Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for Pega CDH and Ops Manager Development

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications

Certification: Pega Certified Senior System Architect

  • As a Pega Lead Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and implementing Pega based applications that meets our business needs
  • Design and develop Wells Fargo customizations to Pega CDH and Ops Manager applications using Pega Platform and related technologies
  • Customize Pega applications by extending out of the box functionality through the development of custom rules activities integrations and user interfaces
  • Integrate Pega applications with external systems databases web services and APIs
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Perform impact analysis and provide technical guidance on solution design.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and stability of Pega applications
  • Act as a liaison between the Business Architect BA and IT PEGA teams effectively translating between technical and non-technical team members
  • Work closely with Business Product Owners Stakeholders  and Lead Business Analysts to translate business requirements into PEGA applications
  • Guide and mentor junior Pega developers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Stay on top of the latest Pega releases, features, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of Pega development processes and methodologies.
  • Integrate multiple technologies using PEGA systems architecting designing and developing advanced customizations
  • Optimize solutions by conducting detailed code and design reviews to ensure high code quality
  • Map functional requirements to PEGA features and functionality
  • Develop an advanced knowledge of the PRPC Architecture and all PRPC design and implementation features
  • Defect fixes and debugging using clipboard tool for the application PEGA code in different testing phases deployment planning

Job Expectations:

  • Minimum years of Pega experience:  3 years
  • Skill Sets: Pega 8.X, Theme-Cosmos, HTML5, Core Java, CSS, Java Script
  • 1-2 Years Experience on Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) Application and some experience with Ops Manager Application
