Job Responsibilities

Full cycle recruiting:

  • Source candidates by developing and improving sourcing strategies for both active and passive candidates
  • Post ads and monitor performance to ensure placement goals are achieved
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing referral sources (technical schools, state/federal agencies, community organizations, career fairs, etc.) to solicit interest from potential applicants
  • Screen and interview candidates which can involve both virtual and in-person meetings
  • Assist Hiring Managers with final selection process
  • Negotiate employment details and extend offers
  • Maintain strong relationship with candidates, as they advance through the hiring process, to ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Coordinate with other members of the recruiting team to schedule and monitor items related to onboarding process to ensure required testing and background screenings are completed and reviewed
  • Provide management team with weekly progress report and plans for reaching placement goals
  • Coordinate new employee orientation sessions and related scheduling.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Strategy and Management Team Liaison

  • Collaborate with KRS Management Team to determine staffing needs
  • Act as a liaison between KRS Management Team and Recruiting Team to ensure effective communication and alignment of recruiting efforts
  • Develop recruiting strategies to ensure proper staffing for fulfillment of upcoming contracts

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required, Associates Degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Minimum of 3+ years of demonstrated general business acumen that includes time management; organization skills; self-motivation; mentoring of others; agility; adaptability; effective communication skills; and prioritization skills
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience in construction or manufacturing is preferred
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, with special focus on Excel, Word, MS Teams, and Outlook.
  • A valid driver’s license with a favorable driving record is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain contractor clearance for railroad property access, through the Erailsafe system, may be required by some clients for work site visits.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
