What's the role?
As a Lead R&D Test Engineer, you will be a key member of Engineering team in South Korea as part of HERE Map and Service organization. This is a role that requires fluency in the latest versions of the Android and iOS and mobile testing. T he position will be based in South Korea and will report to the Engineering Manager of Map and Service Engineering South Korea team.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Owning testing solutions in South Korea, which allows you and other test engineers to develop test cases and test scenarios for the HERE SDK products and HERE services in South Korea.
- Defining and maintaining the test processes, executing, and leading the test engineers to execute these tests in an exploratory manner and regularly for frequent software releases for our different product variants.
- Running field-tests with our test applications on different hardware, platforms, and architectures.
- Working closely with multiple teams, including developer teams and local teams to solve and verify quality issues that are detected and reported.
- Continuously working with the HERE global testing team, migrating & improving the test infrastructure in South Korea and coming up with new and innovative solutions as and when required.

You will have great success on this role if you possess the following skills, competencies and experience:
- A Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Sciences, related fields or relevant work experience
- 8+ years' experience in client-side software testing
- 3+ years' experience in leading a team/group
- Experience in mobile application testing (iOS, Android)
- Knowledge of JIRA and test management systems
- Experience in running field tests (with navigation software is a plus)
- Experienced in working in agile teams and setups
- Passion for mobile phones and fluency in latest versions of iOS and Android
- Excellent collaborative and communication skills in Korean and English
- Knowledge of automotive navigation solutions are nice to have
