The Group:The charter of ADI’s Custom Silicon Solutions (CSS) team is to lead the market in selected technology domains with highly differentiated sensing, signal processing and power solutions. Today these technology areas include Capacitive Sensing, Optical Image Stabilization, Optical Sensing, Audio and Power which drive major growth in our portable Consumer business. With a goal to deliver sustainable growth the CSS group will present the successful candidate with a great opportunity for continuous career development as part of a highly motivated and supportive team.The Position:

The CSS product technology group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead teams working on the development of new product solutions for next generation portable product applications. The successful candidate will lead project development teams taking responsibility for planning, execution, and delivery from product initiation through to release of the final solution in volume to the customer.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Ensure that the appropriate level of due diligence is applied to the business justification for a project prior to the project entering the development phase.
  • Co-ordinate with key project stakeholders to define the scope, full factory cost and total development cost targets for each project plan.
  • Drive project execution to meet the scope, cost, and schedule to plan. Ensure that the project schedule is maintained and key project milestones of tapeout, samples and release date are achieved.
  • Ensure that each development function (Design, Test, Eval, Marketing etc.) is aware of the key milestone commitments and all critical information and changes relating to the project through team meetings and other communication.
  • Manage project change requests which may fundamentally impact the schedule and cost of the project.
  • Track and record in PLE the performance of the project to key milestones.
  • Ensure post-release review (AAR) of the project is completed as required.
  • Work directly and closely with key customers, scheduling and chairing regular meetings and delivering project updates.
  • Travel to customer sites for reviews as required

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, dynamic, meticulous, prepared to take the initiative and also exhibit the following skills:

  • Ideally have 5+ years’ experience in an Engineering Project/Program Manager role working with large multinational companies
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent
  • Strong Knowledge of MS Office Tools
  • Strong planning skills are essential
  • Ability to drive tasks to completion through close coordination with multiple groups
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
