What’s on offer?

We wish to complement our existing team with a Lead Planner for our growing project team within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. The project is for our client Sydney Water and includes a major upgrade to the existing treatment plant. Ideal candidates will have a range of experiences and be keen to learn and challenge themselves. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further. In this role you'll be responsible for:

  • Be responsible for the management and creation of detailed build programs that accurately reflect the conditions of the contract, plans and specifications

  • Monitoring and updating the construction/capital works programs on the projects

  • Providing guidance where necessary to the engineering staff in their programming requirements

  • Oversee the planning/scheduling function, acting as the discipline lead and providing leadership to the existing Scheduling team.

How you'll connect to the role:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Planner with relevant hands on project planning; experience in an M&E/civil/utilities infrastructure project delivery, construction environment

  • Solid water infrastructure experience and sound exposure to Primavera 6, MS Project and Excel on significant projects.

  • Great technical/analytical skills, and the ability to provide sound specialist advice based on best practice and project conditions.

  • Great stakeholder management and communication skills

  • The ability to lead teams and inspire others, and drive outcomes.
