The People Analytics & Insights team
- Integrates into the business as strategic HR analytics partners and anticipates and uncovers stated or unstated needs.
- Listens and empowers team member and external stakeholder voice
- Uses our analytics expertise to test, measure, analyze, understand and answer various business questions
- Provide reporting to help inform on the current state of the business and help facilitate process at scale
- Connects our understanding across business and HR to deliver data driven products and solutions

About the role:
As a Lead HR Data Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines sourced from internal and external sources to support People Analytics & Insights data needs. You will be working closely with the data analytics and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our data infrastructure. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative solutions that drive strategic insights and enable data-driven decision making within our organization. Analysts will work within an agile environment, which requires active participation in ceremonies to accomplish the team’s goals. They also develop domain knowledge as they learn about their business area and support applying key data management principles like metadata management, data profiling, and documenting their data lineage.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the solutions to discover, design, develop and deploy scalable and reliable data pipelines and workflows
- Partner within People Analytics functions to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions
- Implement and optimize ETL processes to transform and load data from both internal and external sources into a centralized data warehouse
- Identify and optimize data infrastructure to resolve performance issues, data quality problems, and other technical challenges related to data operations
- Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and documentation
- Partner with Data Strategy Consultants for data governance practices to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data operations processes.
- Develop strategies for long term data management and data quality solutions
- Design and support automation of insights products
- Mentor and guide team members in technical domains
- Lead agile ceremonies and drive team meetings
About You:
- Must have a minimum 3 years of college degree in computer science or information science.
- 8+ years work experience in HR data management (Should have worked with Workday data for atleast 3 years)
- Strong knowledge of data Management concepts and Data quality.
- Proficient in building data pipelines from API’s, external providers into Hadoop
- Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education
- Proficient in programming languages like Python/Scala. Proficiency in SQL is a must.
- Proficient in streaming technologies like Apache Kafka
- Must be solution driven and have analytical approach towards issue resolution.
