About this role:
 

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Executive Recruiter (LER) to support Executive level hiring 1-3 levels below the CEO in our revenue generating lines of business. The Wells Fargo Executive Recruiting team sits within the broader Talent Acquisition organization and provides top of the house consulting and recruiting advisory services. Our team manages complex and sometimes highly confidential hiring, including market mapping, research, succession planning, talent pipelining, and sourcing.  The Lead Executive Recruiter works in partnership with key HR stakeholders and has direct interaction with the senior executive leadership at Wells Fargo. 

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex hiring initiatives including those that are cross-functional with broad impact and act as key advisor for Executive Recruiting functional area
  • Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, large-scale, and long-term business, operational business needs that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including those that are intangible or unprecedented
  • Manage recruitment strategy for multiple critical openings, including candidate identification, assessment, development, hiring recommendations, and executive referrals
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager in hiring for more complex, higher level executive positions, managing candidate communications including negotiating terms, and conducting reference checks to encouraging offer acceptance
  • Develop executive recruitment strategies and processes by identifying and addressing more experienced level talent acquisition needs
  • Source and cultivate candidate pools
  • Provide expertise and insight to develop, design, and execute best practice internal and external executive search strategies for more complex, higher level executive positions
  • Make decisions in complex situations requiring a skilled understanding of Executive Recruiting functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead a broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives within Executive Recruiting functional area
  • Collaborate and consult with Executive Recruiting peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Lead Executive Recruiting projects, teams, or serve as a mentor
  • Manage relationships with third party search firms and other executive candidate referral services
     

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Executive Recruiting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working for a large, highly matrixed organization. Preferred Banking or Financial Services experience.
  • Preferred experience supporting Capital Markets or Investment Banking.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting 1-2 deep from CEO of a major Fortune 100 company.
  • Prior search firm experience
  • Demonstrated market mapping and succession planning experience.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Savvy with technology and complex process.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter.
  • Strong ability to confidently consult on recruiting practices and process with partners and line of business leaders.
  • Experience managing search firm partnerships.
