JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Co-work with Reliability teams in Manufacturing site and Allegro-USA Headquarters. The candidate will be expected to interface with all Allegro personnel at all facilities.
- Responsible for assisting in defining, developing, and executing qualification and reliability plans of new and existing products, fab process technologies, new packages, and assembly technologies.
- Responsible for analyzing characterization data generated during qualification testing. Manage a portfolio of products being qualified from inception to production release. The candidate will apply a wide range of knowledge in semiconductor IC product qualifications. The candidate will oversee timely execution and completion of qualification projects, define Reliability hardware and test requirements.
- Utilize knowledge of current standards, guidelines, and specifications to generate custom qualification plans for new products, packages, and technologies. Facilitate in the resolution of challenges that arise during the product qualification process.
- In-depth knowledge of AEC-Q100 and JEDEC standards and the philosophy of reliability stress methods and statistical tools.
- Analyze characterization data generated during qualification testing. Evaluate qualification results. Works from schematics and diagrams.
- Assists technicians in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions in the reliability lab.
- Experience in using Physics-of-Failure based approach to develop and implement accelerated tests to mitigate risks during product development.
- A basic statistical knowledge as well as well-developed communication skills are necessary to produce and present product performance reports to technical members of the Core Team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Hands-on experience semiconductor device reliability qualification and good knowledge of statistical methods of more than 5 years.
- Must be prepared to take ownership, accountability and decisions, as a part of a fast paced, customer oriented, multitasking development team that is actively growing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and preferably in statistical tools like MiniTab, Excel macro coding, etc.
