If this sounds like you, or you’re curious to learn more, then this role could be the perfect opportunity as we invite you to demonstrate best practice in public health design as we look for enthusiastic and suitably experienced technical lead Level Public Health Engineer for the Ramboll Engineering Centre located in Gurgaon. The Ramboll Engineering Centre is an essential contributor to the success of the Ramboll UK Building Services team, who together collaborate to deliver exciting and challenging projects across many different sectors.

Your new role

As our new Lead Engineer (PHE), you will contribute to delivering technical designs in locations throughout the India. You will be an integral part of the UK Buildings team, working across all markets and many countries. The Public health team work on designs across many sectors including hospitals, schools, airports, residentials, Universities within the UK in collaboration with the REC office.


Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Public health technical design, reviews and checking
  • Proactively co-ordinate public health designs with internal and external stakeholders
  • Application of advanced/well-developed problem-solving skills when identifying and resolving project challenges
  • Manage and coordinate Public Health REC / UK team resource requirements.
  • Mentor, develop and support an established and stable team of Public Health Engineers
  • Act as a single point of contact for technical queries within the REC team.
  • Drive technical consistency throughout the REC Public Health Team
  • Act as a point of QA prior to delivery of works to UK team.
  • Support and offer technical guidance to the REC Public Health Team
  • Drive company processes and policies.
  • Work closely with UK REC leads.
  • Plan, undertake, coordinate, and monitor work on your projects whilst supporting others.
  • Contribute to the overall design and delivery of projects, as a Lead Public Health Engineer.
  • Identify opportunities for areas of improvement.
  • Liaise and interact with UK Building Services teams to deliver projects from a wide range of sectors.
  • Focus on expanding our team’s Public Health design skills, systematically reducing risk and improving efficiency in our delivery.

About you

  • Master’s/Bachelor's degree in mechanical or equivalent relevant qualification
  • Chartered (or en route to) with a recognised professional institution
  • Experienced in domestics water, drainage system, fire and gas suppression design
  • Knowledge of proprietary public health design software (Revit, Magicad, Excel)
  • Experience in infrastructure design in Europe would be a strong added advantage.
  • Be aware of on-site installation practice and buildability.
  • Have good communications skill in written and spoken English.

Qualifications

B tech Mechanical or Equivalent

Mandatory Skills required : Drainage and Domestic design , calculation experience on

Excel or equivalent PHE software

Experience : 10-13 years
