Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a candidate to provide legal support by drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on marketing activities, and supporting the commercial team in strategic goals. The role involves collaboration with stakeholders, legal due diligence, and finding creative, legally compliant solutions to business problems.

" Roles & Responsibilities

  • Execute the annual compliance plan with the COE function under the direction and supervision of a COE Team Lead.
  • Support the Compliance COE with best practice sharing and keeping oneself up to date with compliance trends.
  • Take appropriate measures to foster ethical culture and compliance awareness through innovative initiatives and approaches.
  • Provide support to the team in designing and delivery of compliance automation solutions.
  • Co-ordinate for all internal and external audits/reviews and responsible for tracking and closure of all CAPAs.
  • Provide support for running quarterly corporate compliance councils.
  • Perform due diligence on third parties/adverse data review in line with company’s Third Party Risk management policy and industry practices.
  • Recognise common compliance vulnerabilities, conduct root cause analysis and recommend basic compliance controls to mitigate compliance risks, in partnership with the stakeholders.
  • Create and deliver compliance training and communications with learning and development team through an annual training calendar as well as ad-hoc requirements.
  • Research, gather data and complete an analysis of compliance matters and bring in best in class compliance practises.
  • Prepare trend analysis, analysing ethics and compliance data and preparing compliance dash boards for management.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification

CA/LLB

Minimum Work Experience

  • 8-10 yrs of work experience in Compliance and/or Audit.
  • Experience in pharma, life science or healthcare industry will be a plus.
  • Having knowledge in anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws and regulations, knowledge in anti-money laundering will be plus.
