Your Role

We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join our growing Financial Services team in North America. In this role, you will work on regulatory issues, reshaping business processes and leading strategic data and technology initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business solutions.

You will play a key role in analyzing business needs, defining requirements, and bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, driving transformation across various financial domains, including risk, regulatory reporting, and data analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis:

  • Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional business requirements.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of requirements with business objectives.

  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to define data and process needs.

Data & Technology Collaboration:

  • Work closely with IT teams to design data solutions that address business and regulatory needs.

  • Conduct data discovery and mapping, creating clear specifications for developers.

  • Validate data outputs to ensure quality and alignment with requirements.

Project Coordination:

  • Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business teams, bridging communication with technical experts.

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in areas such as risk, finance, and operations.

  • Technologies & Tools: Jira, SQL, Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, Agile methodologies.

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

  • 10+ years as a Business Analyst, preferably in financial services or consulting.

  • Strong knowledge of financial products, regulatory frameworks, and data processes.

Skills:

  • Proven expertise in requirements gathering, data analysis, and stakeholder communication.

  • Advanced proficiency with SQL and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience in data analysis, IT development, or AI is a strong plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a focus on Finance, Business, or Data Management is a plus.
