Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close/ quarterly and annual basis process with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide guidance & support to analyst on day-to-day tasks.
- Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and SOX controls applying detailed understanding of the process to ensure that balances are accurately stated in USGAAP.
- Provide support to audit requirements according to the instructions of corporate accounting.
- Ownership of monthly entries.
- Work with other teams to resolve discrepancies, issues and queries for related accounting issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate and influence key internal and external business partners.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial results, monthly closing and compliance activities for complex RTR processes.
Requirements & Qualifications
Language skills:
- Adequate English level to handle fluent and assertive conversations (written and verbal).
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with experience of 8+ years in accounting roles (preferably RTR).
- 2+ years of experience in management or leadership roles.
- Oracle, SAP, QAD, Onestream, Blackline & MFG experience (ideal).
- MS Office proficient.
- Problem solving ability.
- Proactive self- starter.
- Individual and strategic/analytical thinking.
- Fast learner.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Service orientation.
- Shared Service Experience (is a must)
Activities:
- Approve and review of journal entries, reconciliations and SOX controls related to payroll, fixed asset, GL & exchange rate, AP & AR.
- Ensure that the team activities are carried out effectively (month end close activities, recurring entries, activities during the month, investigation of issues and resolution, support to the team)
- Follow up of specific topics with internal and external customers.
- Open and close of ERP modules.
- Coordinate month end close tasks with other teams for activities that are relevant in our processes.
- Make sure to maintain a professional and cordial relationship with members of department and company / Create a positive work environment.
- Organize and conduct regular meetings and communications with team members.
