We are have an exciting opportunity for a LCL Product Manager in our North America office. The role is responsible for the day-to-day management, administration, and analysis of the LCL Product for North America. Key duties would be inclusive of Procurement, Pricing, Growth, Yield and Product development of services on a CFS to CFS and/or Door to Door basis.
Development and implementation of KPIs with a focus on delivering value along with the lowest cost per transaction for the product globally.
Creating & delivering best in class value for TOLL and our customers, meeting and exceeding targets for profitability, volume, and job count.
The Opportunity
- Develop and manage Core Carrier/Co-loader Program in alignment with Global Ocean Product Team
- Develop, implement, and manage ocean products
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and government regulatory requirements
- Communicate & collaborate closely with Global, Regional & Country Procurement Team to deliver market-leading price & service options for customers
- Development and implementation of customer-specific allocations, in conjunction with internal stakeholders, to ensure space and equipment availability in response to customer forecasts.
- Provide solution design and pricing inputs for RFQ responses
What you'll need to succeed
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Freight Forwarding & Ocean Freight industry
- 5 years commercial experience (ideally with pricing and Global/regional tenders)
- Must be competent with preparing and manipulating spreadsheet price modelling data, PowerPoint presentations and reporting information systems.
- A record of successful project completion, sound decision making, integrity and teamwork
- An understanding of management, leadership, budgets, and project planning and management
- Exposure to sales environments at a Corporate Customer level and 3 - 5 years relevant experience in Global or Regional roles with ocean pricing, procurement & product roles
- Demonstrable knowledge of government regulatory requirements
