Create physical layout of transistors, resistors, and capacitors for digital and analog circuits used in the development of memory products. Build layout that meets the process rules and verify that it matches the schematic. Work on floor planning, routing, and power bus design. Work and support the efforts of groups such as Design Engineering, Product Engineering, Process Integration, Probe, and Assembly to proactively design products that optimize all manufacturing functions and assure the best cost, quality, reliability, time-to-market, and customer satisfaction. May telecommute part time.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
Position requires education or experience in:
1. CMOS Circuit Design;
2. Creating physical layout of circuits;
3. Device physics, including basic building blocks of chip design;
4. Utilizing material characteristics to affect the performance of chip design when laid out;
5. Digital logic gates construction and analog layout techniques.
