As a large group Account Executive, you will manage a diverse portfolio of Group Benefits clients. Working alongside our advisor and consultant partners you will be instrumental in transforming their needs and issues into opportunities to present solutions. These solutions will assist them and our mutual clients in achieving their business, employment, and financial goals. You will leverage your sales and interpersonal skills to drive business success, demonstrating a strong motivation to meet and exceed objectives. Your ability to act swiftly and propose innovative solutions will be crucial. Additionally, you will need excellent organizational skills to effectively manage a diverse client portfolio. More specifically, you will be required to:

Enrich and strengthen exceptional advisor, consultant and client relationships.

Grow your assigned block of business on a profitable basis being guided by our sales, retention and net growth targets.

Ensure that the voice of our consultants, advisors and clients is heard within the organization.

Represent the Desjardins brand by regularly attending and actively participating in industry conferences and events.

Adapt rapidly to the evolving environment and embrace change.

Address and resolve issues raised by, clients, advisors, consultants and internal stakeholders concerning the managed block of business.

Ensure effective financial management and support the addition of products and services for existing clients, aligning with their goals and needs.

What you bring to the table

Bachelor’s degree in a related field

A minimum of seven years of relevant experience

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Experience with managing a diverse client portfolio

Group Benefits Associate (GBA) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designations

Sales and meeting objectives experience

Advanced knowledge of group insurance products and policies, underwriting principles, pricing and procedures

Advanced knowledge of the group benefits business
-
Advanced knowledge of differing group benefits funding styles, (insured, refund, Administrative Services Only - ASO)

Available for visits with members and clients
-
Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
