The Job: You will be a member of the Cambodia and Laos Personal Care Business Unit team and will work to define one or more business models to enter a segment with existing, entrenched competitors. You will partner with your cross-functional team to explore the consumer, customer, competitive and financial implications of entering a new category and what it will take to be successful (and potentially disrupt a new category for Unilever!). Much focus and priority will be against exploring disruptive, unexpected ways to build a new or existing brand through distribution channels, fulfillment, format, and micro-targeting. 

  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Conduct competitive deep-dive and mapping of consumers, channels, trends 
  • Develop consumer understanding of unmet needs or potential disruptors in the market place .
  • Implement brand activities including marketing material development, advertising, media, event/activations management and promotion etc.
  • Monitoring brand performance and evaluate the effectiveness of campaign / product launch activities.
  • Work closely with CSP, CD, and multi-functional teams 
  • Develop different business models for launching into segment, including financial analysis and portfolio thinking. 
  • Lead the creation of a distribution, pricing, sizing, and marketing planning, including management approval and timing. 
  • Lead discussion and work closely with external stakeholders media agency, supplier to ensure OTIF implementation.
  • Closely involve in managing project networks with relevant functions.

Qualifications

  • Experiences as Brand or Marketing in product/brand management.
  • Experiences working with cross functional environment.
  • Good insightful thinking, problem solving, analytical skill.
  • Able to balance multiple priorities and meet deadline.
  • Able to work independently and as a team.
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit with resourcefulness and a sustainable outlook.
  • Able to make decisions despite uncertainty with rationality, logic, and trend.
  • Comfortable with number and data learning and management
  • Learning agility and adaptability in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Good written and verbal communication in both Lao and English
  • Open to learn and experiment new initiative.

We are seeking an energetic, results-driven individual with proven leadership abilities and passion for consumers and building brands. The ideal candidate will possess a university degree with an emphasis in communications and/or business and relevant marketing experience.  Candidates should also exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, strong analytical abilities with proven track record of turning insights into action, organizational skills, creativity and strong project management skills and experience. The individual is expected to exercise judgment in coordinating and implementing various projects to completion under tight deadlines and to be able to lead projects and influence others.
