Product development for intra France connectivity and towards other countries in Europe, mainly Northern Europe and Spain.
Responsible for developing and delivering the short to medium term strategy and the top line (Volume, revenue) and profit targets as per the strategy.
Key responsibilities
• Strategy formulation/Budgeting together with Area Product Manager (Landside)
• Yearly market plan/strategy/target setting & Communication to stakeholders together with Area Product Manager (Landside)
• Quarterly review of targets & Communication to stakeholders
• Marketing/promotion: Define Local Value proposition and Differentiators
• Gather market intelligence, review Sales opportunity generation
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to close win opportunities
• Monitor and maintain healthy pipeline of opportunities to achieve the targets
• Business and product development via meetings with customers, vendors and sales organization
• Cost initiatives to drive unit cost down
• General Issue resolution related to the products
• Coordinate with Area Product Manager (Landside) regularly to roll out global initiatives and act as an active contributor
• Performance management: weekly/monthly execution calls & communication to stakeholders, direction setting
• 5+ years experience in France rail business
• Excellent market knowledge on cargo flows, main players, suppliers and customers
• Existing network within the industry
• Entrepreneurial and independent way of working
• Fluent English and French (Spanish will be an advantage)
• Exceptional communications and Collaboration skills

• Strong process-oriented approach to work and excellent attention to detail
