Job Summary
Entry level technician that produces applied samples for multiple different end-uses, following different application protocols, for internal evaluations and/or customer submissions while ensuring standard quality, efficiency and on time production.
- 80% Applies fragrances into cosmetic bases according to customer requirements: application preparation, introduction in line with good manufacturing practices, use of conditioning, and labeling.
- Prepares the first application of perfumer oils which are used for internal evaluations.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of chemical and safety protocols when handling different (harmful) materials.
- 10% Manages cosmetic raw materials and bases in accordance with good laboratory practices which includes labelling, respect of shelf life, replenishment orders, and contamination prevention.
- 5% Completes administrative processing of performed work.
- 5% Performs laboratory duties which include maintenance of equipment, housekeeping, and shortage prevention. Demonstrates understanding of SHE and sustainability rules as it applies to this role.
Skills & Education:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Detail oriented
- •Working Microsoft Office knowledge
- •Working knowledge of automated systems and computer task management tools
- •Written and Oral Communication
- •Able to read English
