Position Summary
The Kinesso VP of Client Strategy and Growth will be positioned for rapid growth within the Kinesso team and will gain invaluable consulting experience through meeting with various clients and presenting technology solutions that align with their data vision. This role offers the chance to work closely with the Chief Data & Solutions Officer on a number of new products and services for clients. It also offers the opportunity to work with a wide variety of client planners, data & technical solutions providers, data sources and has a substantial internal support system. This position offers an intense focus on presenting Kinesso’s expertise in this exciting space. The ideal candidate must have sales or consulting experience working with large clients, a strong technical experience in working with data and some experience in digital media buying operations. This role requires the ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level, delving into the data questions or concerns that a client has and working with them to help present products or solutions geared to their business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the creation and development of client presentations and use them to present a story that aligns their needs to products or services that Kinesso offers
- Work to present the Performance Solutions offerings in partnership or collaboration with Agency services
- Work in collaboration with the Performance Solutions SME leads on developing the presentations for clients that oversee all performance solutions offerings
- Work with the PMO to create commercial models for each new service and product from within team
- Create packaged up deliverable deks that highlight overviews on specifics products and services to send as follow ups after presentations
- Draw on expertise of functional experts within internal teams to continually develop new products and services that offer clients new solutions
- Direct creation of Case Study slides alongside the Performance VP to showcase the results of various product/services solutions
- Work with the VP of Performance to create a process and analysis framework for mapping current clients and their data solutions needs
- Drive overarching change on teams by not looking at Kinesso as a list of products but rather as a company that drives custom client solutions that match the needs of our clients
- Work closely with internal teams to identify client business needs and look for opportunities to resolve the technical or commercial barriers that can drive a successful engagement
- Work with Agency teams to ensure that Kinesso contributes to a long standing client relationship by repeatedly delivering strong project deliveries and results through their offerings
- Guide the client strategy on overall project objectives to ensure they align with client vision/goals
- Oversee and manage client relationships to support the overall team
- Work together with Performance Solutions leadership to sketch out new agency and team engagements that evolve over time
- Plan and build out decks or a summary of projects across the team to walk clients through and align on next steps for the following year's objectives
- Work with Sr. Leadership to develop a go-to-market strategy on GMP support and reseller status
Desired Skills & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above from an accredited university
- 8+ years of experience in a data consulting or technical sales role
- 5+ years of managerial experience
- Relays technical products easily and seamlessly
- Knowledge of various measurement and campaign measurement technologies or methodologies, including website traffic analytics software, media attribution methodologies, demand side platforms (DSPs), data management platforms (DMPs), customer data platforms (CDPs) or digital ad operations with a focus on audiences, data infrastructure, security, media activation and measurement
- Understands audience analytics capabilities and best practices such as audience creation, management, activation, measurement, workflow and limitations in current industry
- Ability to manage multiple projects, interact with senior management and clients, understand corporate strategy, and present data solutions
- Some exposure to coding with any of R, Python, SAS, SPSS, Access, SQL
- Some exposure to SQL code and data warehousing concepts
- Prior experience in marketing analytics, consumer insights, programmatic media, ad serving platforms, media agencies, trading desks or a relevant start-ups a plus
- Able to work together well with a team of Data specialists and Analysts and collaborate with other media teams
- Proven leadership ability, and strong client relationship skills
- Equally comfortable talking with developers as business leaders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Access
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Takes a proactive approach to problem solving, assisting the team, self-development, etc
- Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
