Your role:

In this role, you will become a vital contributor to the sustainable growth of PPG’s Marine Coatings business and team. Vessels and installations that go out to sea need the highest quality of coatings to improve their efficiency while protecting them from harsh (natural) elements. Protecting these assets while safeguarding a cleaner environment is our mission. With your strong industry knowledge and equipped with our advanced product solutions, you will become a valued advisor to support and guide key customers on how to utilize coating protection to achieve their strategic, sustainability and energy efficiency targets.

What we expect from you is to:

  • Maintain a strong network of customer relations across all levels of decision makers and influencers.
  • Be passionate for continuous learning of the industry, our products, and our tools to become the expert advisor for your customers.
  • Identify, support and drive innovation from and to the market that enhances our customers’ sustainability and productivity.
  • Ensure the achievement of monthly and annual sales and margin targets.
  • Plan and lead impactful technical and commercial presentations.
  • Be familiar with industry techno-economic and finance terminology to impact the decision-making process at the top level.
  • Prepare and execute Key Account plans and plan your Opportunity Pipeline in CRM.
  • Passionate to deliver excellent customer experience by identifying areas for improvement and being proactive in resolving customer complaints.

How you qualify for the job:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in the maritime industry
  • Engineering, science, or business master’s degree.
  • Resourceful and familiar with marine industry technical and finance terms.
  • Ability to deal and negotiate at all levels with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ambition and drive to learn and develop towards potential next career moves.
  • Proficiency in English and your local language
