Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture deep, long-lasting relationships with key accounts, positioning yourself as a strategic partner and trusted advisor. Understand clients’ business challenges, anticipate their needs, and deliver solutions that drive value and innovation.
  • Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute tailored account plans that align with each client’s business strategy. Identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth, ensuring that our services continuously meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of junior Account Managers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and client-centricity. Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and ensure that the team is equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver exceptional service.
  • Commercial Growth: Drive revenue growth within your portfolio by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Leverage your commercial acumen to expand the scope of our services, deepen client engagements, and maximize account profitability.
  • Client Advocacy: Represent the voice of the client within the organization, ensuring that their needs and priorities are understood and met by all relevant teams. Advocate for client-centric solutions that enhance client satisfaction and deliver tangible business outcomes.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor and analyze account performance, using key metrics to assess client satisfaction and service effectiveness. Provide actionable insights to both the client and internal teams, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Reporting and Communication: Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients, providing regular updates on project progress, market insights, and strategic recommendations. Ensure that all client-facing deliverables are timely, accurate, and aligned with their strategic objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal research, analytics, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery. Facilitate collaboration between your team and other departments to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience with a market research institute or related industry. Specifically in key account management, client services, or a similar role. Proven experience in managing high-value client relationships with success.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a small team of Account Managers. Strong coaching, mentoring, and team-building skills, with a focus on fostering a positive, high-performance team environment.
  • Commercial Acumen: Deep understanding of market research methodologies and the ability to translate insights into actionable business strategies. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding client portfolios.
  • Client-Centric Mindset: A strong passion for delivering top-quality client service, with a genuine interest in understanding and solving client challenges. Ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise, and compelling manner. Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Flexible and responsive to changing client needs and market conditions.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Languages: Spanish native level, English proficiency level. Other Spanish languages and/or Portuguese are a plus.
  • Location: Madrid offices
