Your role at Clorox:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key accounts including Walmart, Sam’s Club, Walgreens, and Distribuidor del Este. You will drive growth by leading the Business Planning process, developing impactful AmpS (Account Management Plans), and aligning internal resources to achieve business objectives.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead Business Planning: Take charge of the annual business planning process for assigned customers (Walmart, Sam’s Club, Walgreens, and Distribuidor del Este) to drive volume and achieve sales quotas.
  • Manage AMPS Performance: Evaluate the status of AMPS within your business unit and develop customer-specific plans to meet and exceed goals.
  • Influence Stakeholders: Utilize business analytics to influence buyers, decision-makers, and internal partners, aligning strategies to meet customer, team, and company goals.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Be the face of the company to the trade and the voice of the customer within the company. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Drive Results with Limited Resources: Demonstrate the ability to act with urgency and work independently to deliver results, even with limited resources.
  • Risk and Opportunity Management: Identify and evaluate risks and opportunities to inform strategic decisions and develop persuasive selling plans.
  • Trade Funding & Payment Management: Coordinate company resources to manage trade funding and ensure payments are received on time, while maximizing ROI and adhering to company policies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and partners to analyze issues and drive business growth.

What we look for:

  • Customer Business Planning: Strong ability to develop and execute customer business plans for large accounts such as Walmart, Sam’s Club, Walgreens, and Distribuidor del Este.
  • Analytical Expertise: Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Self-Motivated & Organized: Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and stay organized under pressure.
  • Bilingual Communication: Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a retail or customer-facing environment.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, while driving individual results.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to deliver persuasive, fact-based presentations to both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities and a sense of urgency in seizing opportunities.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Education: BBA / BSB Business Administration and/or Marketing
