Get to Know the Team

GrabFood Omni-commerce is a growing team responsible for growing Omni-commerce solutions in the market. Our team make impacts by overseeing critical decisions to serve the lives of merchant partners and provide the best offers for our consumers.

Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a team player who loves being challenged to help us build strategic relationships with high-profile merchants and increase revenue. We need your expertise in merchant acquisition and management. You will be based onsite in Grab Jakarta, you will report to the team lead.


The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Acquisition Skills:

Identify, approach, and onboard potential merchants to expand our network. Develop and implement strategies for merchant acquisition and retention.

Merchant-Relations Building:

You will engage with our merchants, listen to their needs and feedback, and stay in close communication. You need to ensure the service quality consistency to give our customer the best experience.

Campaign and Promotions Design:

Craft compelling campaigns by applying co-marketing partnerships with our partners to bring value to our customers and bring more value back to our partners.

Drive Growth and Higher Return On Investment:

Ensure partners are growing with you and the company. You will take a data-driven approach to estimate Return On Investment and performance analysis for each partner.

Cross-Team Collaboration:

Work with our product, operations, and merchant acquisition teams to ensure merchants have the best possible experience.

Manage Team Performance:

You will likely work with a team from an early stage. It's crucial to help build the processes needed to retain our most important merchants.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Min. of 2 years experience in sales, business development or account management
  • Experience handling and dealing with partners (account management experience)
  • Have work exposures to driving revenue through partnerships
  • Proficiency in English is needed
  • Passion for the on-demand delivery space, and food delivery in particular
  • Comfort in working with a laptop and internet
  • Have experience in sales negotiation
