Key Account Manager KSA
Position location: RIYADH
Summary / purpose of the position
To achievement of IPSEN business goals by implementing benefit-based programs with designated Key Account customers; to be responsible for the achievement of KAM & BU targets on assigned accounts; to establish IPSEN as the preferred partner of choice with assigned Key Accounts; to support the creation of a customer-centric approach.
Main responsibilities / job expectations
- Sets business plan priorities objectives for assigned Key Accounts, ensures cross-functional understanding of these plans with Marketing, Operation, Medical and other key functions.
- Allocates resources across Key Accounts to meet the business plan.
- Acts as point of integration for services across the IPSEN portfolio in specific Key Accounts.
- Ensures achievement of the Key Account plans and delivery of the required financial results.
- Provides expert insight into the local healthcare system, legalization and their impact on Key Accounts.
- Builds and sustains long term professional partnerships with customers and Key Accounts that create appropriate mutual benefits.
- Ensures access and influence to Key Account and legalization decision-makers in an appropriate manner that serves IPSEN legitimate interests.
- Performs and reports on competitive intelligence activities on Key Accounts.
- Achieve agreed formulary listings of selected products & Accounts.
- Development and implementation of benefit-based programs with designated Key Account customers.
- Delivery of Performance results for own Key Accounts institution.
- Effective professional business relationship with own Key Accounts to deliver current and future business opportunities and patient-focused solutions.
- Development of a customer-centric focus within the IPSEN teams working on own Key Accounts; overall alignment of cross-functional teams and any resources from other functions with the Key Account agenda for own accounts.
Knowledge, abilities & experience
Education / Experience :
- Pharmacist Degree or other relevant Scientific education
- Dependant on individual aptitude but would normally expect at least 3 years’ experience of a broad range of work in the ethical Pharmaceutical industry
- Proven record in cross-functional work
- Sound understanding/command of KSA pharmaceutical business
- Strong local network with relevant HC stake holders
Languages:
- Arabic & English
Key Technical Competencies Required
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the disease area, Ipsen’s products and relevant competitor products
- Excellent organization, implementation, budgetary and project management abilities.
- Ability to effectively influence and communicate with customers, internal and external contacts at all levels and excellent organizational, written and verbal skills.
- Expert key account management skills including strong performance, business analytics, planning and numerical skills and an ability to manage complex situations and make excellent decisions, execute plans and achieve outcomes.
