Unilabs is seeking a proactive and organized Junior Secretarial & Finance Support professional to join our dynamic team. This role will primarily support the finance department with various administrative and financial tasks while assisting in secretarial duties for senior staff members. The successful candidate will contribute to the efficiency of our operations by ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial documents and maintaining effective communication within the team.
Responsibilities
- 27.5 Hours at The Harley Street Breast Clinic:
- Full secretarial support to the clinic assisting the medical secretary;
- Typing letters, amending and sending out via post and email;
- Formatting patient reports;
- Filing and restocking files;
- All other ad hoc queries;
- Creating and preparing clinic lists for the clinics throughout the week. Liaising with Radiologists re timings for clinics. Sending them reminders;
- Taking payments when patients are self-paying, making sure the cash spreadsheet is correct;
- Speaking to patients on the phone/people facing in the clinic;
- Ad hoc duties to help the clinic run smoothly and effectively;
- Booking via new systems Medioffice/RIS and PACs;
- IEP: requesting images, sending images out to patients and hospitals;
- Helping in the clinic – chaperone of patients when required;
- Coffee machine maintenance / House keeping;
- Covering staff leave when required.
- 10Hours Finance:
- Raising patient/insurance invoices;
- Uploading Insurance invoices to portals;
- Patient part payment letters.
- Microsoft Office (inclusive of Word, excel, and Outlook);
- Experience of computer systems and audio typing;
- Ability to quickly learn medical and accounting systems (Medioffice/Sage);
- Previous experience in an administrative or secretarial role is an advantage;
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
