Your position
As our new Sales Engineer, you won’t just be another cog in the machine. Your mission? To dig deep into our customers' needs right from the start and transform those insights into winning technical solutions. Balancing cutting-edge technology with competitive pricing, you’ll be the go-to person for creating concepts that not only meet but exceed expectations.
In this role, you’re not alone—you’ll collaborate closely with our sales managers, tackling everything from the initial pitch to sealing the deal. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating the technical and business complexities of each project, ensuring that our proposals stand out in the market. And once the project is secured, you’ll be the bridge to our execution team, making sure that what we promise is what we deliver.
Your responsibilities

Work side-by-side with the sales manager to craft and execute sales tactics that hit the mark.

Address and resolve any commercial or tactical challenges directly with the sales manager, keeping the process smooth and on track.

Oversee and coordinate all sales engineering deliverables from the very first bid to the final handover, ensuring everything is aligned and delivered on time.

Bring in the right technical experts to help you create the most effective and innovative conceptual designs for our clients.

Stay true to the sales strategy by taking the initiative and driving actions that align with our overall goals.

Juggle multiple projects across various sales phases without missing a beat, ensuring everything moves forward seamlessly.

Lead an internal support team—including procurement, planning, concept design, and controls—to ensure everyone is working towards the same vision.

Listen closely to customer needs, analyze their requirements, and translate them into actionable solutions.

Ensure that every procedural step is followed on time, adhering strictly to our sales process checklists, so nothing falls through the cracks.
Your team
The department you will be working in, focusses on the development of the Airports segment in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Furthermore, your department supports our other customer centres global on the disciplines Sales Layout Engineering, Sales Engineering and Sales Consultancy. In order to accommodate a successful grow and to prepare for future readiness, we are looking for a Sales Engineer to strengthen our team.
Your profile

You hold a Bachelor’s / Master's degree in industrial, mechanical, or logistics engineering.

You’ve got up to 2 years of relevant work experience.

You are analytical, with a knack for solving logistics challenges.

You are fluent in English, and if you speak German, that’s a bonus!
What we offer?
This position offers a competitive salary range of € 3.800 - € 4.800 per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale. If you have less than 2 years work experience, you will start in our Young Graduate scale. Therefore, you will get a salary of €3.189 gross per month for a completed Bachelor study and €3.546 for Master.
On top of your fixed salary you’ll receive the following secondary benefits:
