Currently, we are looking for experienced candidates for the position of Junior Reporting Specialist in Close & Control BIP (Banking, Insurance, Payroll) team. If you are interested in the role – apply and join our GSK Finance Hub – Europe!
Your responsibilities:
- Carry out monthly close activities in the areas of banking, payroll and accounts receivable, in order to deliver a timely period end close. Activities include (but are not limited to) research & analysis of entries, accruals calculations, preparation of journals, etc
- Prepare the Balance Sheet Reconciliations, drive quality and resolution of open items and assess balance sheet healthiness and compliance with internal policies
- Prepare documentation for certain month-end control process, ensuring full compliance with internal policies and GSK Internal Control Framework (Sarbanes-Oxley)
- Produce some routine analyses, schedules and summaries for internal customers
- Assist in preparing audit deliverables and documentation for internal and external auditors
- Monitor cash position to ensuring compliance with internal treasury policies
Basic requirements:
- Accounting degree / qualification (ACCA or CIMA qualification started will be a benefit)
- 2 years of post-academic experience in similar roles
- General knowledge of IFRS
- Working knowledge of MS Excel
- SAP or other major ERP experience
- Fluent English (minimum C1)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
