Weiss Asset Management (WAM), a Boston-based investment firm, is seeking a Junior Recruiter to join our People Operations team. The ideal candidate will be highly reliable, detail-oriented, and personable, with strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. This role offers multiple long-term growth paths within the recruiting team.

Responsibilities:

  • Review resumes to identify qualified candidates for open full-time and internship opportunities.

  • Conduct phone screens to assess candidates' experience, qualifications, and overall interest in WAM.

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates, external recruiters, and internal team members.

  • Organize and facilitate internal hiring meetings with stakeholders.

  • Use LinkedIn Recruiter to headhunt and source candidates, identifying top talent for open positions and collecting market intel.

  • Draft job descriptions for various positions by collaborating with hiring managers and relevant team members to gather necessary information.

  • Assess take-home exercises and assignments to evaluate qualifications for specific roles.

  • Coordinate and participate in campus recruiting events to promote WAM and build a pipeline of undergraduate talent.
