Your Opportunity:
This position is a full-time, in-person position reporting to the Chief Marking and Operations Officer. As the Junior Quality Assurance Analyst, you be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital products. You'll work closely with the development, product, and compliance teams to test software solutions, identify issues, and contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our fintech services.
Job Responsibilities:

• Perform manual and automated testing for mobile application to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements.
• Execute test cases, document test results, and log defects using Jira or other tracking tools.
• Assist in the creation, maintenance, and execution of test plans and test scripts for various product features.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing.
• Identify, report, and track bugs or issues, and work with the team to resolve them in a timely manner.
• Ensure all releases meet MyBambu's quality standards by thoroughly testing all changes and updates.
• Support the automation of repetitive test cases to increase efficiency and accuracy in the testing process.
• Stay up to date with QA best practices and contribute to process improvements.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure testing alignment with business goals.

Skill and Abilities:

• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify small inconsistencies or issues during testing and documentation.
• Analytical Thinking: Capable of analyzing software functionality and recognizing potential problems or improvement areas.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive in troubleshooting issues and working with the team to find effective solutions.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with QA methodologies, software development life cycles, and tools such as Jira, GitHub, and Selenium.
• Automation Skills: Basic experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) and willingness to expand skills in automation.
• Programming Knowledge: Understanding of programming languages like Java, Python, or C is a plus for writing test scripts and debugging.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly report issues, collaborate with team members, and convey complex information in a concise way.
• Team Collaboration: Strong ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment and contribute to a culture of quality.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving fintech environment and managing multiple priorities.
• Continuous Learning: Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve QA processes.

Job Requirements:

• Required languages English, bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related, preferred.
• Familiarity with QA methodologies, testing types (functional, regression, UAT), and tools such as Jira, GitHub, and Selenium.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or C is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for identifying issues and inconsistencies.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and reporting findings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
