We are looking for a passionate person to join our fast-expanding media team at P&G as a Junior Media Buyer within our Purchasing department based in our UK head office in Weybridge, Surrey which is easily commutable from London.

In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for the overall purchasing and sourcing of Digital Media & Data in your area, including the successful coordination and execution of sourcing activities.
  • Be accountable to deliver purchasing fundamentals such as supply assurance, value creation, and 100% compliance to policies.
  • Be analytical to use data to determine insights and recommend strategic interventions to meet the needs of your business.
  • Be a key partner to your business, evaluating business results and jointly building action plans to drive improvement.
  • Own key Supplier relationships: including negotiations and optimizing value as well as compliance assessments for info security, data privacy, etc.
  • Work in close collaboration with the P&G Brand Operations team to support them in campaign set-up, trafficking, campaign QA, proof of performance and billing, as well as aligning clear KPIs and targets.

  • Flexibility: We operate a flex at work approach, with flexibility built into the role. Our UK teams spend 3 days of their week collaborating together in our offices or at our external partners or customers. This is balanced with 2 of their days spent on focused work which most tend to do from home. Of course, we do a bit of both every day, but we encourage our teams to choose where they work based on the jobs to be done.

Job Qualifications

What We Look For:

  • Some experience as a buyer or working in a purchasing environment, a bonus would be if this was in a digital media capacity or buying marketing services.
  • Strong communicator with skills to influence leaders and drive decision making
  • Great relationship building capabilities and the demonstrated skill to understand organizational and multicultural dynamics as well as work effectively in a diverse environment and across multifunctional teams.
  • Strong analytical capability, this role will require strong business acumen and the ability to drive decision making through data
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any field is a plus
