Junior Legal Counsel

Responsibilities: 

• Drafting and reviewing various types of legal documents and agreements mainly commercial agreements (Marketing/IO/T&C/License Agreements), and corporate agreements (Share Purchasing agreements/NDA/Service Agreements);

• Proven expertise in advanced legal negotiations, with a demonstrated ability to independently finalize complex agreements;

• Advising the Company on employment matters, including terminations protection of salary, working hours and employee/contractor status;

• Conducting legal research on various topics and liaising with outsourced providers and/or associates and advising on data protection/privacy agreements; 

• Ability to review and advise on data protection/privacy agreements;

• Be familiar with Cyprus company law and corporate procedures.

Requirements: 

• Holder of a Law degree, preferable from a common law jurisdiction;

• Minimum of 3-5 years of post qualification experience in a commercial enviroment;

• Familiar with Data Protection/Privacy legislation;

• Excellent command of English and Greek both written and verbal;

• Proven experience in the i-gaming industry shall be considered an advantage;

• Commercially minded legal expert with extensive in-house experience;

• Ability to prioritise and manage several activities simultaneously; 

• High sense of professionalism, able to work on his/her own initiative and coordinate with colleagues.
