We are looking for a Junior Internal Compliance Control Analyst to join our Compliance team here at ComeOn Group, in our Malta office! If you are looking for an exciting challenge, working with great talent while expanding your experience, look no further!

You will be assisting the Internal Compliance Control Analyst in the effective and efficient review of the regulatory features, including compliance with relevant legislations and regulations as well as professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal standards in all jurisdictions in which the business holds licences.

The chosen candidate will contribute to ensure that our quality on the brands, communication with players and features are up to scratch with the regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure regulatory compliance with betting/gaming and other legislations and regulations as well as professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal standards in all jurisdictions in which the business holds licences
  • Formulate compliance checklists to be used for the purpose of ensuring that all information required is provided accordingly
  • Verify features prior to launch, recheck them once live in production, and maintain continuous oversight to ensure compliance
  • Understand and research on compliance issues and address the risk involved
  • For instances that need to be improved or revised raise trouble reports in Jira and monitor them through resolution
  • Document and maintain a list of all reported issues
  • Ensure familiarity with current regulatory requirements and remain up-to-date with any changes
  • Facilitate effective coordination between internal stakeholders and third-party providers
  • Draft procedures and ensure that they are up to date; propose and drive changes thereof where necessary
  • Prepare reports for the Head of Compliance 
  • Additional tasks may be required to support the team's needs

About you:

  • 1+ years of experience in a gaming or tech organisation with a tech and/or project management and/or auditing background
  • Knowledge in the regulatory jurisdictions of NGA, DGA, MGA Germany and Ontario including Responsible gaming best practices. Of course you are passionate and curious and so also have knowledge of the European regulatory landscape
  • Understand operations and practices that are used within the industry
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Capable of delivering clear and concise communication across various channels
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Diligent, detail-oriented, shows initiative in all aspects of their work, and is proactive in identifying and addressing challenges
  • Great time-management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Approachable and team-oriented, skilled at maintaining productive working relationships with various stakeholders
  • Some experience in working with reports and data, along with a basic understanding of Excel, is preferred
  • An understanding of how gambling platforms and backoffices work
  • Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
