Your New Role:
We are seeking a Junior Global Privacy Analyst with a focus on operational privacy tasks to support our global privacy team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working directly with systems and data, specifically in managing and maintaining privacy-related data processes. You will primarily work with platforms like OneTrust to support data mapping, record-keeping, and control settings, ensuring that our privacy infrastructure is operationally sound and aligned with international standards. If you are passionate about privacy operations, data management, and technology, this is an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise.
What you will be doing:
- Assist in the creation and ongoing management of operational data maps using OneTrust, ensuring data flows and processing activities are accurately recorded and updated. Maintain and update records of processing activities (RoPA).
- Support the management and configuration of OneTrust and other data governance tools, to enable up-to-date data inventories and privacy controls.
- Assist in the setup and continuous monitoring of privacy controls within systems, such as data retention policies, access controls, and compliance checks to support the maintaining of data protection throughout the organization.
- Support use of OneTrust to track, fulfill, and document data subject requests (DSRs),
- Assist in documenting and tracking privacy-related incidents in systems,
- Collaborate with Procurement and other departments to support third-party vendors integration into the privacy management system, including monitoring Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and risk assessments.
- Participate in internal and external privacy control activities
- Support the creation of privacy metrics and reporting dashboards,
- Work closely with IT, Legal, Compliance teams and respective business stakeholders to help align privacy management operations with the company’s overall data protection strategy.
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred or relevant experience/certification.
- Certifications in data privacy (e.g., CIPP, CIPT) are a plus (or willingness to obtain certification in a first year of employment)
- 1-2 years of experience working with OneTrust and data governance tools in an operational setting highly preferred
- Experience with data mapping, record-keeping, and compliance system configurations.
- Familiarity with operational aspects of privacy, including data flows, access controls, and data governance
- Basic understanding of global privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PIPL) is helpful, though the focus is on operational application rather than legal analysis.
- Basic knowledge of operational privacy practices such as data retention, incident management, and access control management.
