The Role - Junior Events Coordinator
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to join our dynamic Events Team. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Events and assist in the planning and execution of frequent high-end events for the company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with current experience in event management or coordination to develop their career within a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative environment.
This role requires a professional who thrives in high-pressure situations, has exceptional organisational skills, and can build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Events in organising and executing high-end events, from conception to post-event analysis.
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, AV requirements, and attendee management.
- Support with the management of budgets and timelines to ensure efficient delivery of events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and venues.
- Assist in drafting and distributing event invitations, schedules, and itineraries.
- Provide on-site support during events, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.
- Maintain accurate records of event details, invoices, and contracts.
- Monitor and evaluate event success through post-event reporting and feedback.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure events align with company objectives and branding.
Essential Attributes
- 2+ years of experience in event coordination or management, preferably in high-end or corporate environments.
- Ability to work alone, as well as part of a group with varying schedules across the team
- Exceptional organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proactive mindset with a “can do” mentality
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends when required for events.
- A collaborative attitude with the ability to build relationships across teams.
- Enthusiasm for learning and developing in a professional events environment.
- High levels of discretion
Desirable Attributes
- Experience in financial services or working with HNW (High Net Worth) individuals
- Experience working in a small but high delivery team
- Familiarity with managing event budgets and vendor negotiations.
- A creative approach to problem-solving and a proactive mindset.
