Automotive software V&V (Validation & Verification) team is responsible for development of infrastructure to test wide range of low-level embedded software for the latest portfolio of NXP microprocessor and microcontroller products. The software V&V team has more than 10 years of experience with development of complex test infrastructures including custom test benches for domain specific use cases. Large number of tests and requirement to run most of the tests on a final NXP hardware is supported by highly skilled team covering multiple domains including continuous integration, continuous delivery, cluster computing, test & measurement, and industrial automation. Variety of software and hardware tools from brand names including National Instruments, Pickering, Keysight, Vector, GÖPEL, Cambrionix, MOXA and others are leveraged to provide industry leading test solutions for our embedded NXP software products.

You will be responsible for development of test infrastructure for system testing of real-time embedded applications running on NXP devices.

You will have the occasion to get in contact with different NXP Automotive teams (solution teams, hardware designers, customers engineers), give feedback and propose solutions.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain Integration and System Tests and Infrastructure for demo applications
• Integrate with various CI/CD/CP systems
• Continuously improve existing test and measurement infrastructure to support new product requirements
• Work with development and test teams to understand current industry trends and customer needs

Your profile:

• Knowledge of Python, Red-Node, POSIX compliant shell scripts, NI TestStand, NI LabVIEW, networking protocols/application is advantage
• Experience with development of embedded software in C language and debugging on hardware
• Basic electrical engineering knowledge including knowledge of industrial automation (Modbus, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, DC power supplies, instrument control)
• Willingness to learn additional automotive communication protocols, microcontroller architectures, and real-time operating systems
• English level A1/A2

Contract: This is a fulltime position with a permanent contract
