Why Data Annotators matter to us
We are experts in machine learning, but the first step in machine learning is – machine teaching. And this is exactly what our Data Annotators do: teach machines how to recognize various images and documents. How so? ML algorithms feed on data, but humans first need to tell them what is what, so that in the future these algorithms can recognize the data on their own. So, without Data Annotators, our ML algorithms wouldn't know how to identify them on their own, and our AI-based products wouldn't work.
The main goal of our Data Annotation team is to enable the best possible quality and efficiency in classifying and labeling data for training neural networks and improving the final Microblink products. At Microblink, everything starts in the Data Annotation team, which has over 60 members and is our largest team.

Here’s what you’ll do
- Label/annotate collected data (such as logo, barcode, numbers, letters, etc.) on different types of documents using our special software
- Check the correctness of the marked text
- Analyze and classify documents from all around the world
- Recognize and analyze visual artifacts and distortions in images
For this position, no previous technical knowledge is needed!
You'll be successful in this role if you…
- Are reliable, attentive, and responsible in your work
- Have a systematic approach to problems and an eye for details
- Have good organizational skills
- Have a basic knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
- Know the basics of the English language
- It’s a plus if you have some experience with annotation jobs before
