The Junior Accountant is responsible for performing all day to day and month end accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate with department team members in an effort to maintain accurate and current information regarding accounts
• Monthly financial closings
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of sales associate commission statements
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and other various reports
• Process bank deposits and reconcile bank statements
• Invoicing customers for ad and project revenues
• Collection functions for accounts receivables
• Coding of accounts payable invoices
• Analytical reporting
• Assist in budget and forecast preparation
• Ad hoc requests from VP of Finance, Controller and Accounting Manager
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 1-3 years of related experience
• Intelligent, strategic and analytical thinker
• Excellent written, communication and organizational skills
• Project accounting experience a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Advance Excel, Word, Outlook
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics a plus
