Job Description
We are now expanding our team and looking for qualified and enthusiastic candidates to take up a full-time position as Junior Accountant to support our company.
The scope of responsibilities will include:
- Issuing of customer invoices
- Generating of payment reminders/statements to customers and follow up on pending payments
- Reconciliation of cash advances received from clients
- Booking of bank statements and performing bank account reconciliations
- Maintenance of customer master data
- Assistance in processing weekly payments
- Handling of various queries
- Involvement in process improvements within the Accounts Receivable team
Qualifications
- College/University Degree or Professional Training in the field of Accounting
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in accounting (preferably accounts receivable)
- Experience in an international company is a plus
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and tax legislation
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge of and experience with SAP is a plus
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Responsibility, attention to detail, communication skills
- Ability to multitask and practice accountability for assigned tasks
