We are looking for a Jr. Media Data Specialist to join our Edelman DXI Hub. Our team already includes experts in production and design, and we are now looking to expand our capabilities with support in global research, analytics, performance, and data consultancy.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn and develop skills in media and social monitoring and analysis. You will gain valuable experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly international environment.
Profile & Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience working in data colection, monitoring, reporting and visualization in advertising/PR agencies or marketing departments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage tasks effectively.
- Strong degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Understanding North American business culture
- Knowledge of PR / communications, and marketing
- Ability to work closely with international stakeholders and adapt to the demands of a global organization
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enjoys working in a dynamic & fast-paced environment
- English fluency B2
Key responsibilities
- Data Collection and Management
- Support the collection of data from various media sources (social media, television, radio, print, digital advertising channels, etc.)
- Help ensure data accuracy and consistency within projects
- Learn and assist in creating basic search queries and taxonomies using Boolean language
- Assist in setting up and maintaining alert systems according to project needs (such as taxonomies, frequency, etc.)
- Support the analysis of media performance metrics like visibility, reach, engagement, conversions, or ROI
- Participate in data analysis related to audience behavior, content preferences, and market trends specific to the Americas region
- Help prepare clear, actionable reports (daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly) using visual storytelling
- Support the creation and maintenance of live dashboards within media monitoring tools
- Assist in customizing reports to meet regional requirements, including language and cultural considerations
