Reporting to the Marketing Team Leader, the Jr. Marketing Development Representative is responsible for qualify inbound marketing generated leads and help translate the business challenges of prospects into opportunities.This is a hybrid role based in our Gent office.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
- Reach out to understand requirements, identify appropriate solutions, passionately tell our story, nurture further discovery, and provide a warm hand-over to sales teams.
- Collaborate in the execution of lead generation campaigns and therefore play a key role in improving overall business results.
- Building relationships, actively listening, and interpreting business needs.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Educational Background: A degree in marketing or a business-related field.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English, French, and Dutch. Knowledge of German or other languages is a plus.
- Experience: Ideally 1-2 years in a relevant role, but recent marketing graduates are welcome. No prior sales experience needed.
- Customer Focus and Positivity: A strong customer focus with a positive attitude.
- Work Style and Industry Affinity: A self-starter who is results-oriented, detail-oriented, and a proactive team player. Comfortable with high call volumes in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. An interest in the graphical, packaging, or software industries is beneficial, but a willingness to learn about Esko’s solutions is more important.
