What will I be doing?
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions
- Create and maintain projects, workflows, schemes, and custom fields
- Configure issue types, screens, and layouts based on requirements
- Respond to JIRA configuration requests via JIRA Service Management
- Provide timely communication and solutions
- Troubleshoot user issues, escalating complex problems as needed
- Set up or modify workflows to meet project needs
- Implement best practices for governance, permissions and security
- Oversee integrations and add-ons (e.g., Tempo, ScriptRunner, Confluence)
- Create and maintain reports, filters, and dashboards
- Help teams extract insights and metrics
- Ensure data integrity and consistent reportingUpdate documentation on configuration, processes, and best practices
- Provide basic training and quick-tip sessions for users
- Propose enhancements to optimize JIRA usage
- Stay current on new features and integrate them into workflows
- Collaborate to streamline processes and automate repetitive tasks
What skills do I need?
- Advance knowledge of JIRA Cloud administration (project creation, workflow editing, user management)
- Familiarity with JIRA Service Management for handling service requests and tickets
- Ability to troubleshoot common and advanced JIRA issues
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical users
- Detail-oriented mindset for maintaining data integrity and documentation
- Experience with automation (e.g., JIRA Automation, scripting add-ons)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Prior experience in a helpdesk environment.
