Java Developer

What does a successful Java Developer do at Fiserv?

• As a senior developer, you will work as part of team to design develop, test, and maintain Java based applications that leverage with Oracle Database.
• The candidate should possess strong foundation in Java programming and Oracle technologies.
   

What will you do:

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code.
• Assist in designing and implementing software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and debugging.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams.
   

What will you need to know:

• Looking for Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering or related field.3 to 7 years of experience as a developer.
• Knowledge of core Java/J2EE concepts and programming principles. Knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Java Development tools and IDE’s.
• Familiarity with tools and frameworks viz Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Kafka.
• Full stack developer experience in digital tech stack e.g., HTML, CSS, Java Script, Core Java, Springboot, Scala, React, Angular, PostgreSQL, Cockroach, etc.
• Strong experience in developing APIs and Micro Services on cloud. Experience with tools and frameworks such as Jenkins, Maven, GitLab, JIRA, SonarQube, TDD/BDD, Docker & Kubernetes, Kafka
   

What would be great to have:

• Ability to speak, write and read in English (advanced intermediate level).
• Agile development experience.
