We are seeking someone who can work quickly (mistakes allowed, as long as you learn from them), innovate and iterate. Our team is responsible for taking ideas from senior management, researching them and building solutions based on them from prototype to product, many of which end up serving a critical role in the company.
The developer will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. Java developer roles and responsibilities include managing Java/Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. Java developer responsibilities include designing, developing, delivering, monitoring and maintaining high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems. This is a great opportunity to influence our product functionality and to work with exciting and challenging technologies.
Required Skills:
- At least one year of software development experience
- Very good knowledge of Java SE/Java Core
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented analysis, design and testing using common design patterns.
- Hands-on knowledge of developer tools and versioning control system
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in English
- Proficient in Croatian/Bosnian/Montenegrin/Serbian
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Restful API development
- Experience with Spring/Spring Boot/JPA/Hibernate
- Experience with SQL/NoSql databases
- Familiarity with CI/CD
- Familiarity with build tools
