Roles and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for driving the development of our risk rating applications and ensuring smooth software delivery processes. Your day-to-day activities will include:
- Building, integrating, and securing in-house software solutions central to the Ratings & Financial area.
- Developing and supporting advanced business applications tailored for the Wholesale lending sector.
- Researching and proposing technological solutions that align with industry trends.
- Ensuring code quality and maintainability through regular code reviews and refactoring.
- Enhancing our quality assurance framework as we move beyond the MVP stage.
- Collaborating with your team to create scalable and future-proof solutions.
How to Succeed
We're looking for driven individuals who are eager to learn and take on responsibility. Your curiosity and commitment will help you grow in this role. To thrive at ING, you should possess:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- A strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns.
- Proficiency in Java 17, Git, Maven, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Experience in creating web applications and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools, such as Azure DevOps.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to embrace new technologies.
