IVVQ Test Engineer for Electronics Units

Location: Madrid Tres Cantos, Spain

Mission:

Validation strategy definition and follow-up for Electronics Units for space applications. The activity is involved in a multidisciplinary team, with opportunity to participate in international engineering teams.

The candidate will lead the Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification (IVVQ) activities of the Units and its lower level elements (boards, firmware, software) in accordance with the Solution Architect and the development team.

Education & Qualifications:

• Engineering Master, preferably Electronics or Telecommunications.
• Experience/Knowledge in IVVQ strategies for electronic systems.
• Experience/Knowledge in IVVQ activity including HW, SW and FW integration and validation.
• Knowledge of Test solutions for electronic systems
• Ability to anticipate and manage risks and opportunities associated to IVVQ activity.
• Ability to manage schedule and cost of Integration and Validation activities
• Good skills to manage teams (even without hierarchical responsibility)
• Team work, improvement spirit, pragmatic, results oriented, dynamic, responsible.
• Motivated to learn new technologies, and space-business processes and tools.
• Valued Experience/ Knowledge in Agile methodology.
• Experience (minimum 2 years) in IVVQ test.

Other Valued skills:

• Good skills for working in multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Knowledge of space programs rules and standards (i.e. ECSS).
• Use of Laboratory test instruments (Logic Analyzers, Data Patterns Generators, Oscilloscopes…)
