The Assoc Testing Analyst is a developing professional role. This role identifies policy and applies specialty knowledge in monitoring and assessing processes and data. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.
Responsibilities:
- Works with technology project managers, UAT professionals and users to standardize procedures and practices for an application testing strategy/approach. Responsibilities may also include software quality assurance testing.
- Executes task to support various testing activities for assigned area related to quality control, user acceptance testing, and various analysis activities.
- Within defined procedures, executes test scripts according to application requirements, documents issues and logs defects.
- Supports the development of test plans and escalates complex issues to higher levels.
- Entry-level developing professional role that supports testing activities where work is subject to standardized procedures and practices.
- Exhibits good understanding of procedures and concepts within own technical area and a basic knowledge of these elements in other areas.
- Requires basic understanding of how own area integrates within IT testing to achieve objectives.
- Has limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.
- Exchanges information in a concise and logical way as well as being sensitive to audience diversity.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years experience in a related role
- Demonstrated analytical skills & attention to detail
- Positive attitude and keen to learn.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under time constraints
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
Bilingual Spanish preferred, not required, Spanish Testing is available with Language Premium

$50,260.00 - $70,140.00
