Summary of Position:
IT Business Systems Analysis work involves acting as a liaison between the business/end users and IT systems development teams for business needs requiring IT based solutions including: •Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives •Making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology Researching business requirements and documenting the relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices) •Translating business requirements into application requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate the scaling of Agile practices across the organization, ensuring consistency in Agile execution.
Facilitate the adoption of Agile practices across multiple global teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
Guide teams in the application of Agile frameworks, including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Act as a change agent in the organization, helping to drive continuous improvement in Agile adoption and product delivery processes.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within teams.
Stay current with industry trends and developments to provide innovative solutions for improving Agile processes.
Identify, document, and train on standard agile practices and integration of those practices into Alcon’s compliance standards.
Develop org Agile Maturity Roadmap and track progress.
Define measurable goals for agile maturity and conduct periodic Agile Maturity Assessments
Identify and address any obstacles or impediments that hinder the team's progress, and assist in removing blockers.
Support ITCI Leads and Agile Coach Teams on Agile
Support hands-on training to teams and leadership on Agile principles, practices, and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
Contribute to Agile training workshops and presentations to build Agile capability across teams.
Increase Agile Tools Adoption and promote best usage
Promote the use of SN SPM as key ITCI Agile tool to manage workflow and track progress.
Drive execution of JIRA – SN integration to align on governed Agile Portfolio.
Support and enable touchpoints with related processes
Support SAFe implementation, as per ITCI Products and Platform strategy.
Collaborate with SPM product owner and ServiceNow platform teams owners to ensure a clear understanding of business priorities and user stories.
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of proven experience as an Agile Specialist or Scrum Master.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, SN).
- Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP) are a plus.
- Strong technical abilities in Project Portfolio Management tools, MS Office, SharePoint, and reporting tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and senior leadership.
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to work with various org level stakeholders and geographies
- Ability to be proactive and independent, and to be interdependent on the team
- Eager to learn and excel new areas, as organization matures
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Engineering).
- Fluent English – written and spoken
It would be a plus if you have:
- Experience with ServiceNow SPM
- Additional language
Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST
